Sandra Magnani is a winner at the "GammaDonna/10 e lode" awards, the top Italian event for women and youth in business and enterprise, to be held next 5 and 6 October in Vicenza.

Sandra Magnani, MD of Samares,a company specialising in the development of solutions for the energy market, is among the 5 winners of the "GammaDonna/10 e lode" award. Now in its fourth edition, the "GammaDonna/10 e lode" awards are the top Italian event for women and youth in business and enterprise. Giorgia Meloni, Minister for Young People, announced the winners at a reception at Palazzo Chigi, the Italian seat of government. Besides Sandra Magnani and Nadia Marino, two businesswomen from Navacchio Technology Park, the other winners were: Paola Farinelli, of RF Microtech in Perugia, which operates in the advanced microwave and radio technology sector; Alice Meneghetti, of RDS NordEst from Riese Pio X, near Treviso, providing consultancy and software development for managing quality control and analysis labs; and Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, of the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation, Turin (a cultural and museum centre).

These 5 leading female innovators have found a successful management style that has enabled them to achieve a balance between excellent financial results and a focus on quality of life at work, environmental sustainability and research.

The winners were selected by an expert panel chaired by Giorgina Gallo, CEO and MD of L'Oréal Italia SpA, and containing Mario Calabresi, Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper La Stampa, Alessandra Perrazzelli, International Regulatory and Antitrust Affairs Manager at Intesa Sanpaolo bank, CEO of Intesa Sanpaolo Eurodesk and CEO of Valore D, and Francesco Profumo, Dean of Turin Polytechnic University and President of the Italian National Research Council.

On Wednesday 5 October, the winners will all be there at the municipal theatre in Vicenza to tell their "story of extraordinary enterprise" in person, at a showcase presented by the Editor-in-Chief of the new Women magazine, Cristina Tagliabue. The awards will be given at 9.15 p.m. during a Gala Evening with gypsy jazz courtesy of the Manomanouche Quartet.
